There is a part of you that already knows that things are empty substitutes for the real prize you seek. That prize is you - the full you, the thriving, joyful you - and it is calling you home now. That prize is what you really seek, and it’s the only thing that will ever fill the emptiness you feel.
On waking, I hear a voice say: You live inside of God’s heart like a single cell. You are a single heart cell in the heart of God.
The guides are here. I reach for my pen.
And you are here and we are here. And this is in response to Amy’s concerns about money and her health.
We begin with our earlier message: You live inside of God’s heart like a single cell. You are a single heart cell in the heart of God.
See yourself there - here, where you are. One cell in a wholeness made of love.
Speak from there, and by this we mean to say: Illuminate your prayers. Illuminate your prayers with the clarity of where you are and to whom you call.
I am the teacher. You are the student. You are the teacher. I am the student. My right hand is your left. Your left is my right. Which is to say that we are here WITH you. We are Love and you too are Love. And here we are, now, Love meeting Love. And everywhere we are is this place. Which is to say that Love is everywhere you are.
(There is a secret here that we will explore in greater detail soon. Here is that secret: You are the one who brings Love where you are. You bring it by calling it to you. You bring it by flowing it through you.)
Now we were speaking of money. And this is that message:
The feeling of money scarcity abounds in your world but we tell you there is enough, and no one else has to do anything in order for you to thrive - to be financially solvent, even wealthy, if this is what you choose. No one has to change a law, or fix the economy, or give you a job, or die and leave you an inheritance, or stop doing anything to you – nothing has to happen but this: you have to shift your attention away from the focal point of money onto the vision of thriving.
See yourself thriving.
See yourself joyful. See yourself comfortable in your body. Satisfied and supported. See yourself loved for who you really are. See this the way that a child sees, with the expectation of fulfillment. With the clarity of innocence. Love reaching for love.
See yourself thriving without interrupting this vision with worries about what you deserve or don’t deserve, and arguments about what you lack. See yourself thriving, setting aside all plans and schemes to earn your way to Love, to fill the lack in you that prevents Love. See yourself thriving, as you are, where you are. No goal. No objective but joy. Your joyful heart, your quiet mind, your settled body. Let yourself see it. Let yourself feel it.
See it now and see it later.
Build the image of you thriving, you full supported and loved, over time. Build it the way that a child builds a castle out of blocks. Try it this way and take it apart and try it another way. Build this vision inside of your mind, your heart, your belly. Build it without concern about money at all. Imagine your castle of thriving forming around you. See the colors of the walls, and the textures of the furnishings. See yourself walking through its rooms - most of all FEEL yourself there. Even when, in the so-called real world you cannot prove that you are there.
Build on your vision as a child plays with costumes. Now I am a princess, now I am a dancer, now I am a king, riding my noble horse through the forest. And wherever I wander, whomever I pretend to be, always, I am inside of my castle of thriving.
See yourself in ownership. I am the lord of this manor. This is my home. It supports and strengthens me. I live here. See yourself supported by the structure you have made.
Which is to say: Dream. Playfully, joyfully. Set your heart free.
And Amy is asking: How in the world can dreaming and fantasizing solve my money problems? And to this we say: dreaming is the ONLY way. To solve ANY problem you must shift your attention away from it as your focal point. To solve money problems, shift your attention to thriving.
Shifting your attention is the ONLY way that leads to thriving, to joy. For in order to change things where you are, you must see things as they might be. This is the foundation of story-shifting, and we will return here throughout the work that we are establishing here and now together.
In your story world of competition and striving, you’d been taught to work hard and earn your way to wealth. In this teaching, money is the focal point and the end of the journey. Yet, once you have arrived there and you are sitting on your pile of money, you will find yourself, once again, dreaming of thriving.
And so, it must be said again: Do not make money (or money problems) the focal point of your vision of thriving. For wherever you focus your attention, this will be your point of arrival.
Your point of arrival
Do you want to live a joy-led life? Follow joy. Do you want to thrive? Focus on thriving. Money is but one channel and, in truth, it is a narrow way.
A wider way: Focus on joy.
The focus on joy is a way of prayer. You are envisioning your end point and asking for help. As such, you are not limiting/narrowing the way help can flow. The Flow will always send help - often as extra energy in the form of inspiration, strong emotion or even physical strength or stamina.
Often, however, the flow will ALSO send you opportunity. A phone call, a chance meeting an invitation. This is the choice point. Will you follow the call toward joy, even when it doesn’t seem to lead directly to money? Will you allow the vision of your castle of thriving to support you through the rising of fear, of guilt, of shame?
When you are focused on joy, rather than money, a steady stream of invitations emerges before you. When you follow this stream of openings, they always lead toward joy. Always unfold toward the expansion of love in your life and in the world.
And this is the path to the way of joy, the way of love emerging everywhere.
In truth, there is enough for everyone to live, to eat, to experience the joy of a universe that provides for all of your needs. There is enough.
Shifting from the way of money to the way of joy
There is a part of you that already knows that things are empty substitutes for the real prize you seek. That prize is you - the full you, the thriving, joyful you - and it is calling you home now. That prize is what you really seek, and it’s the only thing that will ever fill the emptiness you feel.
The return of your own power to the throne of your life: your own illuminated self, coming home. From this place, with money no longer the focal point, the energy that is already streaming toward you can find you.
Hold the vision of a life of joy, with your heart and mind open to what that looks and feels like. Then, hold your heart open to whatever comes toward you. Bless whatever comes to you, holding nothing in condemnation, for nothing is apart from the good.
As you bless all that comes toward you, keep the eye of your heart centered on the image of you, thriving and centered on love. Watch as your vision opens around you like a castle, like a new home in a new world. Watch as you realize the miracle - all that you encounter is response to your vision.
You will attain the true expansion you crave - and much of that expansion will not come from money.
