When life is too loud, this is the way back.
You don’t have to fix everything. You don’t have to know what comes next. You just need a soft place to land. This is a space of gentle reflection, quiet blessing, and holy noticing. A practice of restoring yourself through presence.
This is an invitation to consider Sacred Pause: The Reflection Work, my offering for
paidALL subscribers. In the Program Index, you’ll find links to all the sessions.
In May 2023, I launched a series of small, self-paced offerings called The Becoming Real Workshops. My intention was simple: to offer bright nuggets of insight—pieces of my larger body of work—so that, when life gets confusing or challenging, you would have a place to turn.
I love offering these sessions. Designed as snippets of teaching —stories, readings from sacred texts, spiritual practices and invitations — culled from my bigger, more expensive programs.
When I launched this project last spring, I wanted to meet you where you are, without asking you to commit to a time-consuming, expensive program. To offer the work softly, steadily - with an open heart and open hands. Without asking you to show up for more meetings.
That’s why, everything in this project is meant to:
Nourish, without overwhelming.
Offer, without demanding that you show up in any particular way.
Evolve, with you, as the world evolves, as you and I evolve.
In that spirit, last month, as I worked our most recent offering, Sacred Ache, I added a new piece. A weekly audio reflection, where I read the module aloud, sharing insights, stories, and spontaneous remembrances.
This was the missing piece. The sweet spot. My voice in your ear - but also, my voice in MY ear. As I read, imagining you sitting there beside me, I felt the work deepen and widen. I could feel it opening, amplifying, moving into my bones in a new way. Which made it move into my voice - and the guided meditation - as a more vibrant, living energy transmission.
If you’ve followed my work for any length of time, you’ve probably heard me say that the Guides (angels who guide my work) have often told me: You are the voice. Speak.
When I do speak, the work seems to connect more - with me, with you. So, now I am speaking - every session of every series of this project.
With this shift, it no longer feels right to call these offerings “workshops.”
That word suggests scheduled meetings, structured learning, and a group experience. And while there is a community forming—soul friends meeting each other in the comments—the real work of Becoming Real happens in the quiet spaces of your own life.
It unfolds in reflection.
That’s why I’ve renamed this project: Sacred Pause: The Reflection Work
It’s why I secretly call these modules ‘worships’.
So, what is Sacred Pause: The Reflection Work?
It’s a series of five-week deep dives into the soul work I’ve been offering in my workshops for the past 20 years. Delivered in weekly written modules with insights, invitations to self-inquiry, and journaling prompts to guide your personal exploration.
My own reflections, inviting you into reflection on your own.
It’s real work.
Gleaned from the best of what I have learned, taught, and received over decades—through my Soul Caller Training, One Circle, and Soul Caller Sanctuary programs, as well as my private work with students and clients since 2006.
They carry the glowing, the magic of my ten years as editor of the My Guardian Angel column in Woman’s World, the insight drawn from thousands of hours of conversation, reflection, and teaching, all woven with wisdom from The Flow Transmissions—the messages I have received from The Guides: Angelic Guardians of the Field of Love and Blessing.
The Reflection Work is not a way to upsell you. Not a stepping stone to something more expensive. (I hate it when people do that. I don’t do that. )
The Reflection Work IS the work.
This is a self-study program. And by that, I mean:
You study on your own.
You study yourself.
This is self-reflection.
We are looking inward, exploring our interior spaces.
This is self-image work.
We are looking outward, noticing how we fit into the world.
This is self-study—a conversation with the soul.
The Reflection Work is delivered by email.
One weekly module.
It includes: a brief written reflection, with prompts and invitations. And an audio recording of me reflecting on the themes, remembering things, laughing, and inviting you into deeper engagement with the work.
It’s meant to encourage you - because life is challenging and we all need a little reminder that the world we see on television is not the only world - it’s not, the real world.
It’s meant to explain complex spiritual concepts (as I puzzle them out alongside you).
It’s meant to invite you to join me in the evolution of this work in a way that feels natural, whether by listening, reading, journaling, or coming to the comments to reflect with others.
We are just getting started. The community is still small—intimate—but already, the conversations are deep. Already, the work is reaching into the places it needs to go.
That said, I want to be clear about what The Reflection Work is (and what it is not)
This is NOT a structured workshop with a syllabus and a pile of homework assignments. This IS, however, an invitation—and each weekly email includes prompts and suggestions to help you bring The Reflection Work into your actual life.
There is no formal homework. No grades. No assignments. There are, however, invitations in every module. Soft, easy to do experiments. Glitter Walks to take (looking for the shine that’s hidden in the normal world.) There are journaling prompts you can try - or reinvent in your own way. The idea is: do what calls to you. Leave the rest.
Oh, and there are no Zoom calls. There is nothing to put on your calendar. (If you love Zoom workshops, I’ll offer those at my other Substack, School of Magic.) Again, i want to emphasize: this work is not a lower tier of that work. They are different experiences. Do one. Do them both. That’s up to you.

Right now, I’m called to offer a five or six-week workshop about every two months. That’s six Reflections sessions per year. The rhythm won’t be perfect - that’s the nature of this work. It engages all of us - including me, deeply, personally.
Yet whenever you arrive, there is a Reflection available for you. In the archive. In your email. You can return to a favorite meditation. You can leave comments at any time - even after the session is closed. That’s because these sessions don’t close - they are evergreen.
Move through them in order or come to the modules that feel alive to you. Follow your own rhythm. (To me, this feels like sorting through treasures at a flea market, discovering a secret room in your own home, exploring an old library.)
Most of all . . .
I want this to be easy. Nourishing.
A space that engages your curiosity and creativity.
That calls you into deeper presence in your own life.
Why This Work? Why Now?
Because the world is overwhelming and complex right now—each day, another story to unsettle us, to unseat us from the center of our own story.
Because we need a place to turn when the path is unclear. When we want to silence the noise of the churning world and come inside.
Because I have a body of work that calls to be shared - so I am responding to that call. Right here.
The Reflection Work is also a space - in the dream layer, where you and I meet and share ideas. It’s a place where you can come on your own to listen to a meditation, try a new practice, leave a note, ask a question. A place you can return to again and again, as life brings new challenges, new surprises.
The Reflection Work is open when you’re ready to explore it.
We’ve just finished up with our second session: Sacred Ache.
We begin our next session in a few weeks: Sacred Blessing.
Your soul friends are waiting to welcome you.
So am I.
I’d love to see you in the circle.
Amy
