Angels are the loving thoughts of God. They are love poems.
You could say that the angels are the loving thoughts of God - and that the Divine is a poet. For angels are a metaphor, bridging our connection while also BEING that connection.
Note: The event is over but I’m leaving this post up - my pre-program reflections on the unseen. At the Exploring the Unseen Summit we offered blessings to the Pono (the interconnected web of which we and all creation are a part).
We explored inner and outer space, higher selves, beings of light and 5D consciousness. When it was my turn, we talked about angels - my way. From my perspective, angels (and guides) are, at the essential level, response. They are messengers, expressions of divine intelligence in form. Any form. Angels can animate anything. They can take any shape. They are a bridge between that which is formless and invisible, God, the Divine, and that which is in form. You and me.
You could say that the angels are the loving thoughts of God - and that God, the Divine Creator, is a poet. For angels are a metaphor, bridging our connection while also BEING that connection. They are symbolic, while also crossing into the real. As such, angels can be a difficult concept for the literal minded human to grok. Which is why, I suspect, the literal minded rarely see or experience their presence.
It is the poet, the mystic, the open minded, and the curious who report seeing, hearing and sensing angels.
Angels are not gods, they never impose their will. Rather, they are invitations to relationship with our own divine nature and through that relationship they are bridges. Relationship with angels requires a suspension of certainty, of already knowing -- requiring a beginners mind, free of assumptions and old ideas about how angels should appear, should behave. This is why, when I first encountered them, I needed hundreds of stories to even begin to believe that something real was happening. Thousands of stories more, before I could cross over into trust.
Trusting that angels are real required crossing a boundary between seen and unseen. A blending of a world that was split into two realms - heaven and earth - into one wholeness.
I had to acknowledge my own divine nature and allow my higher self to descend into the real - into the world around me and finally, into my own body. I had to own my own divinity.
Ascension is a confusing word - because true ascension is not a rising upward into rainbow land. It's opening to the descent of rainbow land into THIS land, this body. It's not the lower self ascending - it's the higher self moving into the body. Looking through our human eyes on a world of love.
The higher self inside of you ONLY sees love. This is heaven on earth. A concept which has been, for me, very confusing because heaven, as all the prophets say, is right here -- spread at our feet -- and we don’t see it.
As the higher self looks through our physical eyes, surveying the world AS IT IS right now, it blesses everything.
As we look upon this blessed world, we connect with the infrastructure - the capillaries and mycellium and rivers and streams of life - and all of it reverberates through us. We experience the thrill of uniting with the shimmering divinity all around us.
Do leave a note if you have any questions for me.
