It’s hard to explain, because it doesn’t happen through effort.
For me, it helped to see that what had me hooked wasn’t the person or the events themselves, but a charged image infused with fear and urgency — a feeling that something terrible would happen if I didn’t act right now.
That pattern came from early life for me, and it lives in the nervous system. When I stopped trying to fix or fight it, and instead learned to stay with the fear until it passed through, something softened on its own.
From there, clarity returned — and action became possible again, but without panic.
I’m having weird synchronicities. I shared a mural of Harriet Tubman on facebook the other day. Today I was looking at a room on my sister’s real estate blog and think her picture was on the wall.
She was an escaped slave who helped the underground railroad to liberate other slaves She's from the state where I live. I posted the picture because of MLK holiday and because of current theats to our freedoms.
The only connection to my sister is she likes to post photos she makes of beautiful old houses and apartments that are semi historic.
Most synchronicities I see are just strings of numbers-111 or 222 when I look at my phone or something else.
The connections are made by us. We notice things that rhyme with patterns we are already attending to. For me, looking at signs and synchronicities as outpicturing of patterns inside of myself helps me understand them - and myself. Often, a sign will remind me what I'm already thinking about.
but HOW to let go/let be ???
It let’s go of you.

I really love your question
This essay is deserving of publication in a big newspaper or magazine. Maybe that doesn't appeal, but it is.
Thanks, Bill. :)

Weird.
That’s an interesting connection. What does Harriet Tubman mean to you? What might she say to you? Is there a way she connects you and your sister?

If I were in your shoes I’d take my iPhone to my local Apple Store - just in case.
