Thank you for sharing all this! I've witnessed that loving support that Wayne Dyer calls "Heaven's net" although I'm a much less miraculous fashion than you.
If you haven't seen Wim Wenders beautiful movie "The Wings of Desire" with Bruno Ganz & Peter Falk, I highly recommend it. A beautiful story about the angels that watch over us, set in Berlin before the Wall came down. I first saw this movie during that period, when Berlin was still cut in half by The Wall, and that made the movie even more poignant.
Heaven's net . . . what a lovely way to describe this. I've never heard that . . .
I believe that I saw Wim Wender's film but so long ago that it's a whisper of a memory. I imagine I remember images, scenes but not in a reliable way. So I'm delighted for this reminder. My husband and I are always searching for a good film to watch. :) PS Id love to hear about your experience... no miracle is less miraculous than another. :)
That term is from Wayne Dyer’s book on practicing the Tao Te Ching. You can read that entry here. I recommend highly the entire book, it's a wonderful way to slow down and reconnect to your true self.
When I was first reading this, I had a lovely dream of me and many other people floating gently in the sky, each person supported by a soft balloon that carried them along. 🙂
I love that dream. Wow. I am just now writing about how each of us is like a single bubble in a glass of soda, floating upward - dissolving as we reach the open air of the rest of the world, outside our flavor of soda. What fun!
What a beautiful story! I believe in my spirit guides and guardian Angels. Your story was lovely, and for those who don’t believe, it’s ok. It doesn’t mean that their angels aren’t with them; they are.
Oh my goodness! I have tears in my eyes, Amy. What a compelling - and well-written - story. Thank you, thank you for sharing it with us. 🙏 Fortunately, I believe in angels but, for those who don't, this story may be enough to convince them.

The soda bubbles image is delightful!

I love this story. Every time I read it I get goosebumps.
